We take authentication very seriously. Every single item goes through a detailed authentication process to ensure it’s 100% genuine.

How We Authenticate Luxury Bags & Wallets

    Currently all of the luxury items we sell are bought from trusted partners that have been in the industry for decades. When we launch our consignment/buying program, everyone we buy from will go through a vetting process.

    We know luxury inside and out, from stitching and hardware to logos and labels. We check every piece to make sure it aligns with the brand’s standards.

  3. Serial Numbers & Stamps
    Codes, serial numbers, and other markings are verified against trusted databases for accuracy.

  5. Double-Checking through Entrupy (third-party authenticator)
    We are Entrupy verified and use their advanced authentication tools when needed (or an authenticity certificate is purchased at checkout), so nothing slips through the cracks. Entrupy is a leader in third-party authentication services.

 

How We Authenticate Vintage Tees & Designer Apparel

1. Fabric and Material Analysis

  • Vintage Tees: We assess the fabric's weight, texture, and composition, often identifying vintage-specific cotton or polyester blends that reflect the era they were produced in.
  • Designer Apparel: For luxury garments, we inspect premium fabrics like cashmere, silk, and leather, ensuring they meet the brand’s high-quality standards.

7. Double-check with industry experts

  • Unfortantly for both vintage and designer apparel there aren't any proven leaders in third-party authentication services (such as Entrupy for luxury bags and wallets). Until then, if we think an item is authentic, but aren't 100% confident, we may tap our friends and partners who we consider industry experts for a second opinion.
